CHRISTIAN PEÑALOZA

Dr. Christian Peñaloza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from San Diego State University, a Masters in Engineering Science and Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience Robotics from Osaka University. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Mirai Innovation Research Institute Japan, a research institute specializing in emergent technology research projects. He is also a researcher at the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute (ATR) and specially appointed faculty member at the Intelligent Robotics – Ishiguro Laboratory, Osaka University in Japan. Dr. Peñaloza is also the current president of Japan chapter of the Mexican Professional Global Network – RedGlobalMX. Dr. Peñaloza works in collaboration with universities and research institutions around the world to push forward the development of applications using neurotechnologies that will revolutionize diverse industries that go from healthcare and rehabilitation to entertainment and neuromarketing. Due to his professional achievements and contributions to science and technology, in August 2018 the Mexican government awarded Dr. Peñaloza with the “Distinguished Mexican Citizen” award.

JOSE MIGUEL RAMIREZ

José Miguel has worked for the Canadian Space Agency for over 12 years in the engineering department as Lead Satellite Controller overseeing real-time satellite operations of RADARSAT1, RADARSAT2, SCISAT, NEOSSAT, M3MSAT and the Radarsat Constellation Mission. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in aeronautical engineering from Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico City and a Diplôme d’études Professionnelles in Aircraft structural Assembling from École de métiers de l’aérospatiale de Montréal. He is part of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute, and currently holds the position of Vice President of the Cluster Espacial de la Red Global MX and of CEIMEXCAN (Confederación de Estudiantes de Postgrado e Investigadores Mexicanos en Canadá).

ARTEMISA JARAMILLO

With over 20 years of global experience in America, Europe, and the Middle East, Dr Jaramillo currently serves as Deputy Director and Associate Professor of Marketing, Innovation, and Technology, a degree program currently delivered by Dublin City University who work in partnership with Princess Nora bint Abdul Rahman University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the world's largest women- only university. She is founding of the GCC Blockchain Community (2016); TechSaudiya, promoting technology and innovation among young Saudi women (2018); President of Red Global MX Saudi Arabia (2018), Network of Mexican Talent endorsed by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Guerrero Digital (2013, 2017, 2019); #SaudiMX (2018), cultural and business exchange between Mexico and Saudi Arabia; and a former Global Communications Chair (2018) of Arab Women in Computing (ArabWIC). She led the first global training to strengthen the digital presence of Mexican women abroad, with over 60 participants from 16 countries.

LUIS ALFREDO BONILLA

For the past ten years Luis Alfredo has been an active member of the Red Global MX Network and has pioneered numerous “firsts”. Luis Alfredo was one of the founders of Nodo Aguascalientes in 2015, a key entity that has created a wide range of social impact and technology exchange programs in collaboration with chapters around the world. To name a few, he was the key point of contact to establish commercial links between Aguascalientes and the following countries: with Estonia for e-government pilot programs, with Spain for medical tourism, with China for educational and academic exchanges, and with Saudi Arabia for government collaboration projects. He is a sough-after speaker in several education, research and technology forums across Mexico.
